Years ago, soap was made over an open fire using fat from butchered animals and lye made from rainwater and ashes. The quality of the soap was often questionable but it got the job done. These days a soap maker can choose from a wide variety of exotic oils, scents, colorants, grains and botanicals to make their own version of a perfect bar of soap. Soap has now transcended its humble beginnings to become a form of artistic expression - each bar as individual as the person creating it.
At Miller's Homemade Soaps, we combine traditional methods with modern ingredients. Color, fragrance, moisturizing qualities, lather and hardness are designed into every batch we make. We think our soap is extra special and hope you will too.
